Physical Therapists, PT, DPT

Bio

Scott is a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and bicycling biomechanics. Scott is passionate about biomechanics, exercise physiology, and pain science. He believes in a well rounded approach focused around restoring normalized movement patterns and patient education being a key cornerstone to his treatment philosophy. His path in becoming a physical therapist had an interesting twist upon earning in doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Washington in 2014. A bad crash while mountain biking left him with a severely shattered arm requiring multiple surgeries and extensive physical therapy. That experience ignited a special interest for helping individuals who are recovering from complex fractures.

Scott is a proud Husky and is always striving to stay on top of the most current physical therapy techniques to best serve his clients. He holds a strong belief that we should always be questioning and evolving our current methods to most effectively treat clients with the highest standard of care.

Scott's interest outside the clinic revolve around the enjoyment of the outdoors through mountain biking, road cycling, rock climbing or snowboarding. He always enjoys learning something new about food, wine, gardening, and Japanese language from his incredible wife. Additionally Scott is a board member of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and when he is not in the clinic he is involved in efforts to build and strengthen our cycling community.
