Mike's focus as a Physical Therapist is on both treatment and prevention. His goal with each patient is to help them become independent and self sufficient in their rehab as quickly as possible with a primary emphasis on education, activity modification and exercise. The ultimate goal is for them to become stronger and more durable than they were before. He is aided by his background in personal training and strength and conditioning which he sees as part of the continuum of rehab to prehab to activity. To this end, he has pursued certifications in mobility training and olympic weightlifting.
Mike spends most of his free time either training to compete in olympic style weightlifting, or outdoors, skiing, biking, and hiking.
