Thao is a Washington native, where she received a double Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Economics from the University of Washington. She moved to San Diego to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist, earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in 2016. Her clinical experiences spans working in a skilled nursing facility, sub-acute hospital, and outpatient care specializing in manual therapy. Thao’s specific therapeutic interests include general orthopedic, neurological rehabilitation, and women’s health- completing continuing education from Maitland-Australian Approach and Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation. Additionally, Thao volunteers with a non-profit medical group providing physical therapy care in Vietnam.
Her passion is to help others improve their quality of life and build a healthy, active lifestyle by reaching their wellness and fitness goals.
When she isn’t working or volunteering, you can find her outdoor running, climbing, hiking, or free diving.
