Melissa is passionate about engaging her patients in their own health and wellness. She creates comprehensive physical therapy programs specific to each person's lifestyle and goals for treatment and prevention of future injuries. She helps the patient to create a plan for return to regular physical activity long term, following completion of treatment. She has a strong background in manual therapy with a prescriptive exercise focus on restoring postural balance, strength and endurance.
She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in San Diego at the University of St Augustine in 2015 with high honors. Personal interests include snow and water sports, running, olympic style weightlifting, and the outdoors. She loves the Oregon State Beavers, Portland Trailblazers, Green Bay Packers, and the Seattle Mariners.
