Letter To Our Referring Physicians

To Our Referring Physicians:

As COVID 19 has swept the globe it has dramatically changed how we care for our patients. We are working to balance the need for safety and also trying to remain operational to serve the needs of our community. With many outpatient hospital PT services being suspended and some outpatient clinics closing, we want you to know we are still here to serve. We are also implementing a telehealth option for those unable or unwilling to see us in person, or should we be compelled to close our facilities. In addition, we have an expansive library of home exercises including on youtube.com, so our patients have guidance while doing their exercises at home.

The safety of our patients and staff remains our utmost priority. We have been closely monitoring the situation on a daily basis and have been strictly complying with the cleaning, monitoring for illness, and implementing social distancing guidelines set out by the CDC and local governments. The Office of Homeland Security put out a memorandum of essential infrastructure workers on March 20th, and included physical therapists.

If you have patients who are in need of working with a physical therapist, we are here to support you and them. We want to do our part to keep your time free to treat those in the greatest need, while we manage the musculoskeletal issues of our mutual patients.

We wish you and your patients well during this time, stay safe and stay healthy.

Best Regards,
