Pre-Surgical Conditioning

If you need to have surgery performed, we can help your body get ready for it and get in to the best condition going in to it.

Surgery is often necessary but always leads to decreased function for a while after its over.  Physical therapy to improve your function before surgery will allow you to begin your recovery from a higher level the moment you wake up from anesthesia.  Whether its improving your strength, balance, mobility or just showing you how to safely walk with crutches before you need them, pre-surgical physical therapy is really helpful and often preferred.

Your surgeon may recommend it as well within the couple weeks you might have to wait to have surgery.
