Graston therapy  is the use of metal  instruments to help detect and release adhesions, scaring, or restrictions of soft tissue in the body such as muscles, ligaments, tendons, and fascae. The instruments are used to help breakdown these adhesions and redirect tissue healing properly through the inducing of the normal inflammatory process for recovery and remodeling phases of soft tissue healing. It consists of 6 metal instruments specifically designed to contour to the body.

The Graston Technique® incorporates the pillars of Physical Therapy treatment consisting of cardiovascular work, stretching, strength building, manual therapy.
