Lake City Ambassador in Africa
Ashley Picone (Lake City) recently traveled to the Rakai District in Southern Uganda to work at an orphanage. The task they were attempting was to install a water system catchment tank. The village would then be able to use the water to grow crops and for emergency drinking water should their well go dry. The volunteers also addressed AIDS education with the villagers.

Peak Sports and Footzone Team-Up to Provide Running Injury Clinics
Footzone in Issaquah will be hosting Peak Sports and Spine Physical Therapy Issaquah physical therapists Kerry Field, DPT and Abby Halpin, DPT each Wednesday from 7-8 pm for injury information sessions. Runners/walkers/athletes can sign up for 10 minute time slots to get their questions answered regarding running information, training, injury prevention, and footwear.

Two members of the Bellevue staff recently participated in the Diabetes Association, Tour de Cure Bicycle ride
Matt Weston and Jenny Foote, along with her husband,Corey, rode the event which raises money in over 80 cities nationwide. Riders collected and donated over 17 million dollars in 2010 This money is used for research, education and awareness of Diabetes and diabetes related conditions.. Jenny and her husband rode the 44 mile course, while Matt did the Century ride (100 miles)Peak Sports Employee Assists with Haitian Relief Efforts

Peak Sports and Spine Sponsors Record Breaking Teen
Sixteen year old Newport High School student, Blaine Lints is a runner. He has been running consistently for a couple of years. In fact, he is getting so good
that he was running in ultra-endurance events. Blaine decided to "raise the bar" and compete in the American Cancer Society "Relay for Life" at Husky Stadium.
He approached Peak Sports and Spine Physical Therapy for sponsorship.
