Peak Sports and Spine Physical Therapy - Lake City provides outpatient orthopedic physical therapy rehabilitation treatment in Seattle, Washington.
Our optimum goal at Peak Sports and Spine Physical Therapy - Lake City will be to restore you to the highest level of functioning that your pathology will allow.
During your treatment, you are an active participant. You will be involved in ongoing exercise, flexibility and cardiovascular rehabilitation and the intensity of your rehab
program will be directed by your condition. You will be given activities and exercises to do at home. Your input regarding your care is very important to us.
Peak Sports and Spine - Lake City will accept most major insurance plans. We will attempt to verify your insurance coverage for Physical Therapy, but it is your responsibility for interpreting your contract and we strongly suggest that you verify your coverage.

Clinic Director: Tom Spencer, PTA/L A.T., C./L
Tom is the Clinical Director and especially enjoys working with an active population, returning you to full function. . He graduated from Central Washington University for his in 1980 and earned his physical therapy degree from Jefferson State Community College in 2002. He specializes in designing sport exercise programs. “I chose athletic training and physical therapy because I enjoy working in sports and helping people get back on their feet after they get injured.”
Tom loves working at Peak in Lake City because the community is so perfect. As the Clinic Director, he takes every opportunity to make this the most enjoyable clinic in the area—making it the best neighborhood clinic for you.
Playing sports, watching games, and two children keep Tom and his wife plenty busy, and he still takes on a coaching role for his daughter’s sports teams. He’s the Head Athletic Trainer for the grown-ups as well, including involvement with WNBA’s Seattle Storm, Bellevue College, and North Seattle Community College. He’s also excited about the Sports Enhancement Training Program for Peak Sports and Spine Physical Therapy.

Boyd Bender, PT, OCS, COMT
Consider yourself a member of Boyd’s family! Working at Peak Sports and Spine, he enjoys the sense of community he feels with the other clinics and with his patients. He thrives in a small setting close to home where he can focus on individualized patient care. Boyd is a level 4 certified Manual Therapist through NAIOMT. He also specializes in orthotics. His own experience with physical therapy in high school sparked his passion for health and wellness, leading to a degree in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 1980.
He hopes you’ll see the Lake City clinic as your neighborhood physical therapy clinic where you can truly feel at home. On his day off, he can be found with family—on the green, shooting some hoops, or hiking in the surrounding Lake City area.

Becky Forkan, DPT
Becky loves all things athletic, from hiking to football. Sports inspired her to join a team that prevents injuries, not just treats your pain. She earned her B.S. in health and human performance with an emphasis in athletic training from the University of Montana in 1999, and went on to get a doctorate of physical therapy from University of Washington in 2005. She specializes in orthopedic, post-surgical, and sports injuries.
The smaller setting of Lake City suits Becky’s desire to work closely with her patients, collaborate with her team, and enjoy the diversity of the community. This environment provides many opportunities for an active lifestyle. Becky’s goals include health, wellness, and action in your life.
Becky and her family spend a lot of time golfing, cheering on the Montana Grizzlies and Seattle Seahawks, and traveling.

Carrie Morris, PT
Carrie is community-minded when it comes to physical therapy. She considers Peak Sports and Spine to be the physical therapy clinic right around your corner. “I believe an active community is a healthy one, and I hope to help you embrace the same philosophy.” She meets the needs of each patient and is creative when she designs exercise programs, especially “return to sport” programs.
Her interest in physical therapy started with an interest in quick rehabilitation and believes it can happen! Carrie graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. When she’s not designing exercise programs and treating her community’s families, Carrie spends time with her three children and husband. You might also see her watching a sporting event, running triathlons, offering speed and agility training, or coaching a youth soccer team.
